Here is your answer Mike. It is sort of scary too.

I had a long talk with etrade and asked some of the questions you always hear in the pinks like "Who is trading pre market"

As it turns out there is nothing to have the MM give you any price at any time. Just because the bid is .096 and the ask is .099 doesnt mean you will get a .097 when there is a sell.
The MM only have to report their closing price. Thats it.
So if you have a buy order in at .10 and the MM wants to cover some shorts he will sell some shares at .096 and you wont get them even though your buy is higher. The PPS will drop and pass you by.
As the price is dropping you could suddenly get your shares at the .10 price and never see them go through L2. At the end of the day the PPS drops to .093 and after hours you see your .10 go through and it is followed by a .093 and the MM opens where he closed. The price action on a low volume penny stock means nothing. There is no more buyers then sellers etc. It is just MM moving the PPS where they want it.
Todays close is already determined. They will put any trade they want through before the close to hold the price where they want it.

Looks like 40k or your 50k order for .0952. Perhaps a MM felt your inquiry was justified and filled the order for you. LOL.
