gabeh: Not sure what you are referring to. The license article that I quoted was from the LG's lump sum contract which is no longer in effect. However the way I read that article is that no additional license fees would have been required.
Note: The license only covered certain specified standards. So any patents specifically pertaining to non covered standards, whether internally generated or acquired, are not be included.
