Why wouldn't RKT sign that deal?

Company's generally don't go around signing any and every deal that they hope to make money on just because it's no risk to them.

But if that belief keeps you warm at night, you are free to hold it tight.

If that were the case, why don't we see any similar deal in the P2O space with the dozens of other technology companies out there? Surely RKT would want to cover all their bases with a similar deal with Agilyx, Envion, Cynar, Splainex, NillTech, etc... no?

But they chose only JBI. There's just gotta be a logical reason for that... care to hazard a guess?

Sometimes dreams come true...

"Even if JB mentioned a possibility of a JV with SSCC this doesn't mean squat, as Rock Tenn wears the pants now.

It's ok to dream, but right now all you have is a dream."

"Rock Tenn is interested, wheres the link to that news?

Smurfit Stone was the only link, and they no longer wear the pants. Rock Tenn has announced no referal or any agreements with JBI. How do you even know the agreement between JBI and Smurf survived the merge with Rock Tenn?"

"They only had a referral/contract with SS, and it remains to be seen if Rock Tenn is interested at all. Rock Tenn has announced no agreements with JBI, and all we have is pure speculation that they're even interested in pursuing one with"

Yes great deal for JBI
- they don't have to buy land,
- they don't have to deal with zoning issues,
- they don't have to construct buildings,
- they don't have to pay rent/lease or taxes,
- they don't have to start from scratch to obtain solid waste/air permits (amend existing permits)
- they don't have to worry about a steady stream of free plastic,
- they can cluster numerous processors at one site instead of multiple sites,
- they don't appear to have to worry about a buyer for the fuel as RKT has first right of refusal therefore transportation/storage costs are eliminated.

Yes -Great deal for both companies.
