Uranium plays take off and fade periodically. The business case hasn't changed. In 2013, when the Russian warhead surplus U308 stops coming to the US, there will be a U308 shortage.

When will the utilities decide it's time to lock up supplies??? Don't know but when they do, the price will rise and U will get hot again.

The 2011 bloodbath in U stocks because of the Japanese disaster is curious. When a 40 year old Ford automobile loses control because of faulty steering and causes a crash, do they recall all 2011 Fords?

But the politicians are making decisions and that means stupidity and chaos.

I am still bullish on U stocks but the market malaise could last awhile. Might be safer to wait for a definite upturn. As you know, IF they rally, the gains will be big so you can afford to play it safe and wait for positive signs before jumping on the train. I think you should prepare yourself by making a list of your favorite U stocks and maybe make lowball bids. If the sector moves up decisively, you can move up your bids and try to pick off your favorites.

As always good luck Art.
