On September 11, 2011 at Lake Elsinore, Calif. it was 0500, the sun could barely be seen when soldiers from the nearby area cheered, as they received approval for their historic jump. This historic jump memorialized the tragic event that took place 09/11, along with Operation Valiant Warrior II. This year SaviCorp (SVMI) (Pinksheets: SVMI.PK) was able to distinguish itself as an avid supporter of its U.S. Armed Forces through the weekend of recognition.

Valiant Warrior II recognizes the 17 paratroopers' who paid the ultimate sacrifice during the current war in Iraq. "It's so important that we are recognizing of all our fallen heroes on this day 09/11," Michael Elliott, retired Army Ranger, and All-Veteran Combat Parachute Team explained.

The Association of the United States Army hosted this event at the skydiving jump site in Lake Elsinore, Calif., and at Edwards Air Force Base; and select members of the Army's Golden Knights Parachute Team were also in attendance. Two SaviCorp shareholders Ed Foster and Jolyne Roberts got the privilege of tandem skydiving with Elliott. "Wow, what a rush," said Roberts as she safely landed on the ground. "When President George Bush Sr. wants to jump he calls Elliot; only the best for us."

The 2nd annual Operation Valiant Warrior proved to be a weekend packed with excitement and patriotism. The weekend concluded with a World War II evening attire themed military ball. The support from SVMI sponsored a table of Soldiers, and their family members for this unique ball. "I appreciate the community coming together to help us attend the military ball," said Specialist Katie Southerland a native of Lakewood, Calif. "We had a great time and enjoyed getting to know each other better." To view pictures of this event click here - http://www.savicorp.com/Albums/ValiantWarrior/valiantwarrior.aspx

"We are so blessed and fortunate to have the freedoms of our country protected by our Armed Forces," Serge Monros, SVMI CEO commented. "We're thrilled to have the honor and privilege of supporting our soldiers and their families for Operation Valiant Warrior at this remarkable event, on this historic weekend. SaviCorp looks forward to continuing our support of our nation's military."

#19623 RE: oceans11 #19621

oceans11,

I'm not sure I've read anything on this board that even comes close to SVMI bashers coming out against the military.

I thought yesterday's PR (edited version repeated again today) was a joke. I cringed when I read it. It is the kind of thing that maybe deserves a spot on the company website, but does not come close to being a PR-worthy event (in my opinion).

Does this mean that I am against the military? No way - I have the utmost respect for the military. But this does not mean that I want a company I'm invested in to issue such a fluff PR. I think it makes the company look very amateurish to issue this PR.
