It seems that you do not understand the process of shaping and testing artificial intelligence programming. Sufficient data must be collected in order to abstract it into a functioning algorithm. This can not be done without real life human to robot interaction. This is the purpose of the home trials.

You are confusing this with drug trials which must be objective, or perhaps a court trial where the judge or jury attempts to be the objective standard.

The automotive industry is a good example, but they occur in every industry that I can think of. Engines and other components are engineered in the lab, but they always have an over the road trial before they go into production. If these tests are not performed correctly a dud goes into the market, the company loses money, and the brand loses credibility.

The CareBot is going through extensive field trials so this does not happen. The launch will be successful IMO.

If one had been following GOSYs in-home trials closely they would know that the trials went on for almost a year, not a couple of days. Also, if one looked at the videos closely they would see at least 2 different participants and surroundings, if not more.

Regardless, that doesn't really matter. The point is that GOSY has done something no other robot company has done. Mr. Spencer has developed the technology and has demonstrated it to the world. IMO he works well with others or the in-home trials would have never happened.
