Mschere

All I can say those are great and informative post you have provided to the board. Now I am going to voice a opinon that shows why I think Ericsson and Interdigital had settled the 2G in principal in 1999 or early 2000, but because of the delay in 3G decided to bundle it all up and wait and see what patents IDCC and maybe even Ericsson would have in 3G. Remember the IDCC 2G patents are getting old, and a good license agreement with a past due liability from Ericsson for 2G also puts all the unlicensed infringers in a bind to come forth and sign a 2G license and a 3G license, and this will insure the longivity of IDCC even after the 2G patents have expired.

I am sure others can put it in better words, but what I am saying that a license from Ericsson was more important than as you stated even a court victory, because of the amount of money owed by all the rest of the industry. Let us not forget that Ericsson agreed to wait for the IDCC patents to be revalidated so they have cooperated on several things in the past, and I am betting they decided to wait for 3G and all the other patents to be mostly submitted and see how essential the IDCC patents was going to be so a final agreement covering everything was in place and the whole thing be put to rest.

I think now is the time to be buying all the stock you can get your hands on, as options are to risky for a event that could be delayed by a few weeks or a couple of months to risk all on. You buy your options with your extra money, and don't risk your core holdings on timing.
I own options, but I have owned them more times than you can shake a stick at and I have fed someone else as they got my money.
