you may well be correct, but I read it differently. I imagine ERAS interacting with TSSs on one side and MSCAPI on the other. I read that slide to indicate that MSFT has built a wrapper around TSSs (equivalent to wave's CSP). Such a wrapper would obscure interoperability issues. I don't see Wave's ERAS as operating through INFs management software, I see ERAS as REPLACING INFs management software to make calls on INFs TSS firmware. I could (easily) be wrong.
I'm saying that it looks like interoperability is being lost as o hook,not that there is not still a role for key management, communication with remote deviced and so on, but that anybody can (and always could) write their own ERAS, just now they can call on the MS wrapper just as ERAS calls on the Wave wrapper.
I see it only as the removal of a barrier to entry for competition.
