Silk is a luxury item in the garments and accessories market. The look and feel is what the high prices are paid for, not the resistance to wear.

When the name of the material is in common use as an adjective to describe it's qualities ("silky") that should tell you something. (And, in case you haven't guessed, "silky" is not generally taken to mean "wears well"!) So you are completely ignoring what is very well known to be the most important and valued property silk is famous for to focus instead on a quality that according to YOU is irrelevant!

I wonder how the clothing industry allowed denim into the market. They sure have lost alot of sales since that introduction.

Not being combative here......Do you sense buying pressure building? The way I see it, Thompson will be making a draw here pretty soon, PRs are on the way, no doubt CSC will be selling to recoup the money they lent (I'm not going to argue this point with anybody, so save it), but the bid/ask ratio has been favorable for a price increase for awhile now. Are your indicators pointing towards a run upon the next bit of activity?
