LG, thanks for your posts.. as you imply the WAMU situation is not static but fluid, one's assessment/opinion should reflect that.

I agree completely. I'm just surprised by the rapidity with which your mind changes on a regular basis. Just days prior to the post in reference, you were certain the POR would be denied. Now you aren't, even though the information you've used to determine this sudden change was available at the time of your previous belief (which you posted twice over a few days) that the POR was certain to be denied.

My belief regarding the sour change of mood around here is that because people had high hopes that a decision would be rendered on Friday, and because it was not, some seem to think this is in some way a negative sign. It isn't. All it means is that the judge has a heckuva lot of information in front of her that she needs to digest. That's it. Nothing more.

I listened to the entire hearing. While I didn't care for her arguing with Starke or her gimme question to the JPM attorney, I recognize there was far more to the hearing than that. It wasn't as one-sided as you're making it out to be. You're cherry-picking. The judge also questioned the hedge funds relentlessly and with clear disdain in her voice. She listened intently to Art Steinberg and Parker Folse without questioning them. She evened the game by throwing Parker Folse a gimme question as well.

What I believe will happen is that many things will be decided in our favor and many won't. I'd wager one of the things decided in our favor is finding the hedge funds guilty of IT, and as a result, the POR unconfirmable. As for the GSA, I'm honestly not sure.
