Fidelity only requires the $2500 minimum for Mutual Funds, not for stocks. I know, it's misleading on their website. Spoke with customer service last week and confirmed this. Strike up an online chat with them to confirm for yourself ;-)

Not sure about transferring pennys, though...

Trade King clears through Penson.

OK... NOW Scottrade tells me they do not transfer penny stocks! I just started trading, have very little capital. Definitely not the $2,500 Fidelity wants to open an account. Anyone heard of "trade king"? Any suggestions welcome.

open a mycash acct at fidelity,dont think theres any minimum to open,maybe 50 bucks,been with them a while now

@alright...I use etrade although a bit expensive the customer service is great and they do their own clearing so you dont have to worry about if your penny stocks are Non dtc...
