I feel sure that if I, like Dorothea Barr, waited all day to read my lines, I would be a nervous wreck. She does not, like our lawyers, make her living by speaking in front of a group. I know she had to be extremely nervous and had to read her words as her memory might fail her. I will give her kudos for having the guts to do that for all of us. The same for all of our pro se speakers. Thanks to all for all you do.
One of my children "froze" up so much that when she was in college, she had to see a counselor to help her gain the confidence to speak in front of a classroom of her peers. No all people are gifted public speakers.
