I do not think any new investors understand the package IDCC has to offer. They see NPE and assume that the IPR portfolio has been assembled via purchases along the way. They do not understand that they invented the B-CDMA system 16 years ago. This is the data transfer that is so popular today. They were too early to the game. However, they experienced first hand the problems that arose. They proceeded to concentrate on those areas and have invented solutions to cure and/or avoid the perceived problems. These guys were country when country was'nt cool. Nok, the town bully, recognized what they possessed and entered into a series of agreements before the turn of the century. Nok in its true fashion has repudiated its word and has joined Siemens to its hip. These two low blow brawlers have still been unable to keep up with IDCC. Vision, foresight, network of networks, bigger data pipes, convergence,compression, bandwith useage and other goodies exist at IDCC. You get it all at City Hall in the engineering section of IDCC. This is about the sale of the company, not some piecemeal patent dump. The package is a great deal for a new manufacturer or an older one who has taken the sector for granted during its prosperous times.
