You may be tongue in cheek, but just in case:
Chaikin Oscillator is one of the several indicators available on StockCharts.
I have studied (slightly, reallty) the algorithm on ChartSchool, but claim no special understanding. I do get the drift that it is a derivative of the A/D line, which is itself a derivative of the advances and declines data.
Exactly why it should be a worthy leading indicator escapes me, and the ChartSchool doesn't help much is explaining how to use it.
At this desk the "why" is never mind if a way to use it reliably is discovered.
