There are plenty of fuel cell competitors. NEAH doesn't or never has shown anybody a micro design. The only design I saw with the infinity series was that it was around 14" long more than 2 inches wide, and can't remember the height. Hardly a micro device! About 4 years ago, when Abromowitz was CEO, there was a military competition for the BA battery. NEAH chose not to enter that competition. Most likely because NEAH couldn't meet the spec. Since the Navy helped out NEAH, they increased the wafer size to meet their need. Never heard anything from the Navy since the contract ended a few years ago.
