snimmitt: The regulation FD disclosure rules apply to the company e.g IDCC, not an investment firm and/or analyst who received and disseminated the previously undisclosed material nonpublic information. However, the investment firm and/or analyst would be in trouble if they had signed a confidentiality agreement and/or traded on the basis of that information.
