In deed, how do these "promotion companies" get enough email address' to run a wildly expensive 1-3 day promotion?

Well this very site has a link built-in to virtually all post pages to Google. If you have a Google account, and you put your mouse over the little icon that looks like a file folder, your real name and and email address shows up. At least it did on my Chrome browser until I took steps to prevent my real name and one of my real email address', that I have not provided to this site, from showing up.

Think about it, has Google ever discarded any piece of information that it came upon, no matter how. And does it sell or rent lists?
