Count - I agree with your comments and want to further your thought at the end:

As people look into the situation in more depth, more are seeing the strong likelihood that IDCC will be bought out at a level higher than this, potentially much higher.

Some of the strength in the stock price comes from the likelihood that Google, Samsung, and/or Apple are acquiring shares at this level.
