Very interesting call, that would be quite the move from here.
In my own fundamental way I find it hard to see how the current environment supports that much bullishness.
I am wrong a good deal, so I don't say any of this in any mean spirited way. Markets do interesting things and sometimes when you least expect it the market will surprise in a big way.
That move came out of an extreme oversold/fearful environment where some believed the world as we know it was about to collapse.
I don't think we have any such extremely oversold situation here. You might argue we do have fear that the markets could again slide back into the abyss again and create that all over but we are not there at the moment.
In fact I think because of that recent catastrophe, traders/investors are trigger happy and willing to escape the market fully at any hint of a return to instability. Now have the nervous folks all exited at this point and sit on the sideline, I doubt it.
We may rally but 300+ pts seems a little too much to ask from my view.
