Check the charts Oct 2002 and Feb 2004 and Jan 2005 hit yearly highs. There just seems to be a lack of interest in the market those other months. I misplaced it but the Dow is down about 5% from Apr - Sept over the last 55 years and up ALOT during the good months in those 55 years.
