I spoke directly with Dale Tietz from ACCESS 5 back in April. He deals extensively with the FAA for both ACCESS 5 and UNITE...rock

"Today I had a phone conversation with Dale Tietz, he is working with UNITE and ACCESS 5. He recently gave a briefing to Air Traffic control, it will be available soon on the web site.(see below)

Dale was quick to acknowledge that Sanswire One is under the "wing" of NASA and will be using restricted airspace for the test so they(UNITE and ACESS 5) are not involved. FAA, NASA and AF will be the bodies to deal with as Huff has stated.
He said the intensity of the (HAP's, ROA's UAV's) program was "on fire". From NASA on down this new era about to unfold has everyones attention. To commercialize with our existing airspace network is a great challenge but he also noted how much is being accomplished. He was a pleasure to speak with and deals with the FAA daily."
