Sambeaux - Some reasons we hold on:

1. Don't want to admit the loss to ourselves. Somehow it doesn't feel like a loss until we sell.

2. We get "married to a stock"--just like with a spouse--with the ups and downs of the relationship.

3. We enjoy the mutual support of fellow investors. Leaving is like breaking away from a cult.

4. We ligitimately evaluate the risk/reward as worth it. My son said to me, "Dad, assume you owned no shares of any company right now--just cash. Would you put your money here now or elsewhere?" Had to honestly face the fact that for me--elsewhere is the answer--but only with a very watchful eye on FASC. I would be very quick to get back on board on rather short notice.

Thanks for saying goodbye. But I am really not leaving. Just sitting on the sidelines for now--watching the game rather than participating in it at present. Waitedg
