With a new CEO and 5/31 drop dead date, I refuse to believe there will not be any announcement today.

frobinso: Nothing new on PACER this morning. However, I especially have my eye out for anything new in the Delaware case.

As you may recall, that last thing we had in the Delaware case was Nokia asking for an oral hearing on InterDigital's Motion to Dismiss. That was on May 16.

The court still has not set a date for a hearing.

Why it would take over two weeks to set a date for a hearing? I do not know.

Here's my hypothetical scenario:

Judge Farnan to InterDigital: "Hey, when are you guys available for this oral hearing?"

InterDigital to Judge Farnan: "Well, Your Honor, we actually have this arbitration decision coming up on May 31, and there is a possibility it may result in a settlement between us and Nokia, which may render this whole case moot. Can we wait until after the 31st to schedule the hearing? We don't want to unnecessarily clutter your calendar."

Judge Farnan to Nokia: "Hey, boys. InterDigital wants to wait on scheduling the oral hearing you requested. Apparently you guys have some kind of arbitration thing going on. Are you guys ok with waiting until after the 31st to schedule the hearing?"

Nokia to Judge Farnan: "Ja. Dis isss ookkey wit ooosss."

Judge Farnan to The Parties: "Alrighty then. You guys call me when you're ready."
