#212692 RE: Weby #212691

Weby, asking mgmnt,

To the extent that SEDs represent a incremental killer app in Wave's strategy to open the window into the TPM world, and given that SEDs can be rather robust without TPMs, perhaps a question for management may be:

What is plan B?

Management is clearly pushing SEDs hard as a way to get Wave in the box for some of its more premium products. Its been a hard sell.

How developed are Wave's plans for other incremental solutions to open gateways into a TPM world?

It seems to me that the Lockheed breach and the whole NAC angle could be packaged into a simple to understand simple to swallow pitch (albeit more involved than SEDs in a fleet of managed laptops).

Too much (IMO) hinges on the SED/data-at-rest angle.

Others may outsell Wave on this (SED management), all while a considerable portion of TPM-enabled value sits idle.
