My analogy doesn't need a unitary god to operate - more like an Olympian pantheon, amongst whom one god will provide the divine spark which brings the market into being. A technology that is built by random adaptation may take some time to emerge, I'm afraid. So I think we are stuck looking for some clever person to figure the idea incarnate, the trust logos (the Greek word not the pluralistic brand), the origin of hardware-based-security species. For the trust matrix to develop, it requires a variety of adaptations to occur, some of which will turn out to offer their authors an advantage. Wave's advantage is looking dependent on some link that is missing from the fossil record.
