#20270 RE: OutermostSoup #20268

Anyone notice how VFIN was selling their client at 5 and 6 and at the same time buying for themselves at 5 and 6. Looked to me like they were screwing their client. If I was their client, I would be pissed.

Good questions as always, Outer.

Does anybody have any experience in the structural make-up of Tailing ponds? And if so, what kind of work should we expect after they sample where the dry stacking will be placed?

This will be known after the test drilling is complete and analyzed. They will have to see what's down there and decide what, if anything, needs to be done that will appease the DRMS. I don't personally foresee too many issues. The main issue with the old tailing ponds at the mill was the close proximity to the stream. The location of the dry stack is suppose to take care of this problem.

The dry stack location is some distance from the mill. I believe the DRMS approved a dry stack solution, but the company still needs to test and report to them the specifics of the plan. That's why the drilling is important. If the company drills through that existing pond and finds it stable the DRMS shouldn't have issue. We'll soon see the guys doing what they love - digging.

We have the various forms that need to be done, but I look at it more like 3 separate projects that will be worked on somewhat simultaneously.

The Mill - the water line repair falls under the mill work as does the rest of the TR issues. Some of this work has already started

The Tailing Ponds - these are the existing ponds next to the mill that we've spent all this time and effort to find we can't use. But the plan has been approved. It'll take a very low tech solution; seal it the ponds with a liner, cover the liner with soil, and plant flowers on top. :) A little work is involved moving dirt while being careful not to puncture the liner, but again, these guys love moving dirt. This is not much different than digging out a flower bed, laying down weed fabric and bark dust - just a larger scale.

The Dry Stack Location - The testing will need to be done to see if any hoops need to be done on that one. (They might find a good amount of gold right in the existing tailings. Be nice if it paid for itself, lol.) I haven't heard too many specifics about this location yet. If I can swing another fact finding trip you better believe this place is on my list, along with the mines and a few beverages.
