Dead wrong. From the most recent 10Q:

"Machinery and office equipment 1,591,973"

That includes everything at Javaco and PAKIT. They had around $600k in "machinery and office equipment" before there even was a 20 ton processor in existence so everything since 20 ton P2O began has capitalized at a cost of less than $1 million. That above figure also includes at least two more 30 ton drums and various parts for additional processors.

That's proof right there in the financials that it's impossible for the processor to cost over $1 million as the total carrying cost of EVERYTHING p2o equipment related is still under $1 million including two additional drums, more parts, and whatever machinery they bought for PAKIT.

Further on the gate meeting.

I was there because I am a member of the Project Team. The purpose of the meeting is to assess whether it makes sense to continue the project. All of the Project Team and Stakeholders (key management team, etc) were there plus some consultants. As expensive and educated and experienced as the company can get. Purpose is to (in a friendly way) pick apart what is presented to the point where it is perfect and everybody agrees the company's money is being spent wisely. Outcome is to GO/ No Go.

Contrast this with JBI. JB owns the company and can do whatever he wants. There is no governance at all. He even can direct the BOD as far as I know. So he built the whole machine himself, did all the design, and admittedly is pretty smart. And probably him along with a few key sales people and family members have landed a few deals.

Well, no one person is smarter than a roomful of the best people available for hire. Part of learning to work in an organization is to accept criticism and be a team player. It takes maturity and builds true leadership.

What should that tell you about this company, these news reports, and the stock?

That is why I don't believe JB and in the JBI stock.

I don't believe the point is whether there are established practices for plant design and builds since of course there are, and lots of people know the ropes as well as you seem to. The success at JBI is clearly not in planning permit applications but taking a desktop idea (rather a good one as it happens) into a full blown operating unit in a year. Then while the permits were being addressed, a whole series of refinements were made to convert the process to continuous feed, separate the fractions, enable testing by sizeable organizations etc etc. The irony is that when this tale is told the delays will likely be seen to have sped up the overall business success. The point is the machine works - hello - that means plastic waste is going to be converted to oil in large quantities at a site near you in your lifetime. Whether it takes another month or decade is yet to be determined and makes for great speculation both in real dollars and in posts to this board...
