tell those locals I'll buy the coins from them for $30 each. If they are selling them for $20, and you say "keep them for me. When I see you next (week, day, whenever) I'll buy them from you at $30" I bet they would do that.
I'll take 150 of them if you can get them for $30 each. And for a 50% raise in price, I bet some will hold them for you.
If this works for you, let me know, and I'll send you down some seed money to start you buyig them. :-)
I don't want you to go out of your way much to do this. Just if you happen to see these guys anyway. Or tell one of the locals working for us, and they can tell them. But I'm serious. Let me know how many you can get, and i'll buy them. I've wanted to buy coins from DPBE for YEARS now. Wilf teased me by saying the shareholders would get first shot at whatever was found on the scipion, but that never happened. (Told me that on the phone onone of the old phone conference calls that I clle dinto) So even though these coins would not be "directly" from DPBE, I'd LOVE to have some. And it is a win-win-win situation. The locals get more money than they are getting now, I get some coins I've wanted for years, you get more interaction and positive (Since you are giving them more money) thoughts from the locals, and DPBE gets more exposure overall.
WOuld that work? Are you willing? :-) (And if you can buy them from the locals at $25 each I'd STILL pay $30 each for them, and YOU can make the extra $5 per coin. times 150 is $750 extra bucks, just for picking up some coins for me, with MY money, and no risk. ) :-)
