OT: Frobinso. What a really wonderful post. Yes. ..I remember you well, but I thought you were from St Louis. Everytime I saw your name, I did think .. .. "Missouri" .. but wasn't sure you were the same one.

Raised on a farm myself. Mother's is still on the home place (50 miles straight east of St. Louis). I still enjoy going where I was raised as a boy. A beautiful farm that will stay in the family, I think, however, there's nothing better than owning a farm that you earned and paid for yourself.

I'm 100 miles straight east of St Louis and you're right, it is in "Gods country" ... 100 miles to the nearest large shopping center in all directions. I chuckle when I think the same thing about Tennesee when I travel through some of their country. They in turn would probably think I'm on the end of the Arkansas ridge (no offense to Arkansas).

Your current happy situation brings up some other memories of several years ago. I used to get a dollar an hour as a kid for putting up hay in those hot high loft barns. My dad did favor John Deere tractors, but we never had a "a used New Holland 256 five bar Hay Rake w/dolly wheels". Truly you are right, "It's the small things in life that really count."

You know Fro, we may have had a few cross winds with this one, but I can bet you that there are a bunch of others that weren't able to stay the course. So we're blessed. ... It really would be nice to cash in a bit, but if not, as you suggest, I can be happy in cutting a little grass and you can be happy in turning over a little hay. So very nice to talk with you again. Take care ole friend. .. nic

BTW. I think JimCharts said something about going past 16 bucks was a good thing. He's from Minneasota and knows nothing about farms but I think does know his charts. I think we may be in the money.
