Not to mention that were it not for jersey...

GIVING HOURS of his time using his accounting skills...

ol' incompetent Gil would not have a prayer of getting GSII (or whatever HIS non-trading enterprise is now called) cleaned up enough that a REAL, respectable partner would even take a look at it to collaborate in a Joint Venture.

Moreover, jersey is getting "paid" in shares... or "promises of shares" since we know broke-ass ol' Gil can hardly afford (to pay cash for) breakfast at MickyD's (without panhandling for the money)...

IOW, if this does not work out after a long wait and cleaning up years of financials, jersey will get nothing... just like the rest of the longs who have been waiting.
