More reason to go SOLAR. You're not crossing wires DD. Check out this video for the first minute.
Remember this happened 10 days ago. Because it wasn't a catastrophe it didn't get press. Fukashima was a disaster and that makes headlines, sells air time and news print. It's about sensationalizing and what makes money. It's not about what could happen, it's about what has happened. Kind of where we are now with QTMM. No press because it's not an actual event. Wait a while longer when it becomes an event that will change how companies do business and it will get a lot of press, and not from a press release. Coverage will be because it will change how things are made and will impact life as we know it now.
I suggest all the flood zones that shouldn't be inhabited with houses be the solar farm fields with solar farms raised above the flood level. If they could be productive farm land then leave it as that. Nukes in flood zones isn't the best location, Kind of like what were they thinking when they built Diablo in Cal. on a fault line? Ripster is right Nukes have fallen out of favor, Germany is shutting all of their nukes down by 2022, Saudis cut back as evidenced by the foreign visitors to sell them nukes has kind of dried up and I just heard France was changing something related to their nuke policy. This significant loss of MEGAWATTS will total into the GIGAWATTS over the years and will have to be made up with another energy source. Steve couldn't have timed this better!!!
This flood problem raises a whole set of issues, mainly getting people to the site. I guess they would have to take water taxis to get to work. Any one have a boat they aren't using? You might be able to turn it into a cash cow in Nebraska about now.
