thanks for the explanation and the time and effort you took to respond....

my cynicism emanates from the fact that people have been forcasting the end of the world since the "beginning of the world"....

and, I notice Christianity is based upon "fire and brimstone"....we're always trying to save the natives....always talking about eternal damnation....

In my life, the world was supposed to end a couple of times....plus there have been numerous recognized & failed predictions....

today I was watching some nonsense on the History channel (Decoding the Past) which linked Nostradamus predictions the Mayan prediction for next year....(funny....but, until they came up with the Mayan 2012 nonsense, Nostradamus was the only show in town....but, it makes fun television)

as far as Obama and his nasty cronies trying to undermine this nation......or the League of Nations relative to WWI as the UN is a product of WWII....

Obamacrats are nasty...but, they are today's nastiness....

those things always happen....

my theory....

people don't live long enough and we don't eliminate the trouble-makers.....

I do not believe:

Longings for global governance usually comes out of war (the league of nations after WWI and the UN after WWII) and a desire for a strong leader usually comes out of chaos, economic collapse, and wide spread natural catastrophes.

I believe in those scenarios YOU ARE TOLD people are longing for a strong leader....

and, lastly.....the most intriguing question is (based upon this your statement):

The era is when God's stored up wrath is unleashed upon an unbelieving and sinful earth. It has nuclear war, great famine, economic disaster, meteors hitting the earth, and in just 2 of the many of God's Judgments, half of the population of the earth (around 4 Billion people) are killed.

why is God going to kill all those people NOW......??

he hasn't rained down his wrath and killed half the earth since the beginning of time.....!!!
