please clarify a couple of basic things for me/us....

Obviously, I am not SOROS, but after studying the Bible for many years (including end times prophesies), I believe I can answer your question. It is not likely that my answers will be satisfactory to you, though, because you probably reject the idea of Divine Providence, supernatural intervention, and Biblical Prophesy. If I am wrong about that, I apologize. I will try to address your questions as briefly as possible.

Your first questions have to do with "who are they... very specifically?" and "how do they create global chaos and establish a one world government?"

The ruling "elites" I referred to in my post are those radical socialists within and connected to the obama administration whose apparent goal is to bring our economy and our government down. These people are not a part of end times prophesy in a direct manner -- they just are setting the stage for what is to come.

"Very specifically", the "they" of end times prophesy are the evil triumvirate of Satan, the Antichrist, and the False Prophet, who together make up a satanical version of the Trinity -- the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. When the 7 year Tribulation era begins, the Antichrist, empowered by Satan, is the head of state of one of a 10 nation confederacy of nations who were associated with the old Roman Empire. Either shortly before the Tribulation begins or shortly thereafter, he will gain political control of three more of those nations, and eventually he gains control of all ten of them. I believe that the "10 nation confederacy" will be the European Union, which will continue to lose members until it is down to 10.

As to the "how do they produce chaos and bring about a one world government?", it is a little strange that you would find that idea so humorous -- it is not. Surely you are aware than many of the radicals in obama's administration want to cede our governing authority to the UN and for it to become a governing body of global scope. Longings for global governance usually comes out of war (the league of nations after WWI and the UN after WWII) and a desire for a strong leader usually comes out of chaos, economic collapse, and wide spread natural catastrophes. All of those will be the very essence of the Tribulation, especially global natural catastrophes. The era is when God's stored up wrath is unleashed upon an unbelieving and sinful earth. It has nuclear war, great famine, economic disaster, meteors hitting the earth, and in just 2 of the many of God's Judgments, half of the population of the earth (around 4 Billion people) are killed.

Does that sound like chaos and a fertile field for a strong leader who promises to fix everything??

You also find funny (ironic?) that end time prophesy does not give a detailed timetable. That is true of most prophesy -- only a few prophesies give an exact time when they will be fulfilled, Daniel 9 being a major exception. But most prophesies give us plenty of information to recognize when they are very near, and they become crystal clear when the events are in progress. To date, all of the short term prophesies and about half of the long term prophesies have been fulfilled, and all of them were fulfilled literally down to the smallest detail. End times prophesies will be fulfilled in exactly the same way -- literally and in great detail. Actually, once the Rapture and the signing of a 7 year peace pact between the Antichrist and Israel occurs, the timing of the rest of human history is given in great detail. It is only the timing of the onset of these events that are unknown.
