If the Doctor may add some medicine in these depressing times...
We know for over a year that results were dissapointing (Dan Keeney talked about "different than what we expected").
Well they hoped to find oil, I guess they also expected it. So where they expected to find oil, they found something else (nothing or gas). In places they did not expect to find oil (or anything else) they found gas.
They recently told us (and the JDA) that they needed more time for study.
I don't believe that! Why? I if am presented a puzzle in an IQ test, and it takes me over a year to come up with (no) answer, I say: !@#$%^^&! IT!!

Well, those pesky Chinese want to solve that puzzle themselves they 'tell' (suggest) us...
I think that they refuse to give up the blocks because they KNOW that somebody else is capable of solving that puzzle, but they want a piece of the solution.
So here is where I differ from Badog's excellent and realistic point of view: results in block 1 will provide them only with some more information on how to solve the puzzle. No oil in block 1 does not mean imo that there is also no oil in the 12 remaining prospects in our blocks...
The Chinese SIMPLY DO NOT HAVE THE KNOW-HOW, and we tend to forget that, in these depressing times...
