I'd hope so. But number crunchers are going to have to analyze it deeply if it's a stock-for-stock conversion. Since it's not like a buy-out by another company who's stock is already trading and has a value. If we're trading stock into "newco" -- how does one value "newco" shares?
It's almost like handicapping an IPO, but without a sponsor of the IPO setting an opening share price.
