MMs are just market makers for retail traders. All that MMs usually do is place orders. We are also on the OTCs so it's done electronically.

There's no shady, cigar munching men behind the curtains watching every tick and intentionally lowering the ask and whacking the bid to screw all retails.

If you see a walkdown, it's usually done by retail trade groups. Same with run ups. JMO
