no, I don't think that will be part of the settlement. There will be a value of the shares...whoever owns them at the time will reap that value. This is not a class action, where dates of ownership become important. (and previously in this case, where owners of record of a certain date were mentioned for voting purposes)
No that is not possible. How could someone who bought shares on Friday for $40 be told that he is out in the cold? No one would ever buy shares in a situation like that.
I think one good way of looking at it is, JPM WANTS ALL SHARES!!! i dont believe they want one share out there in other peoples hands. If they convert WAMU into a new company,and want full control, I do not believe any shares will be left behind. It is not likely they will only convert some shares and not all. JMO
