IDoCare, Apple and 4G is unclear at this time. It's a possibility that a new license will be drafted before the expiration of the current license that will update for all new products and 4G. Such a license could include paid up features, but I don't expect anything until much later this year or early next year for such a possibility.
Bottom line, Apple is a current licensee and was licensed without litigation.
