When you research..keep in mind that over 2/3 of IDCC's current 1600 Approved Patents are CDMA related..and the percentage for the 5,000 pending are higher than 2/3 CDMA related.... and then there are the 2 ESSENTIAL Patents from Tantivy and the ESSENTIAL patents from the new $8 Million purchase..and IDCC is close to reaching 10 Essential Patents (from the Guru " 1/10% rule of thumb Formula") for them to assert 1% royalty for all 3G Products..as per NEC, Sharp,HTC, Sanyo etc. etc..

I believe that IDCC makes patent application in the Patent Offices in the U.S., Japan and Germany. Are there other regions where IDCC files it patents? I also know that IDCC has Trade Marks in various locations including Canada. Any additional insight will be appreciated.
