i'll bet you 75 is pretty close to accurate. add up all the shares owned by alpha and platinum, then management, then the rest are all small retail, except... many retail holders own millions.

so if there are more than 75 sharesholders, i would say it's a mix of whales and minnows.

besides, i'm sure the TA gets pretty accurate info back from brokerage firms. they have to report this sort of thing. jmho.

Here's a question: Let's say 1,000 investors have purchased their LBSR shares through TD Ameritrade and none of them have taken possession of the actual stock certificates. Does anyone know how many "shareholders of record" there would be?

There should be 1000.

To Da Moon is right. I am using Zecco to trade and it said there are 100 Zecco members holding LBSR. I don't know how many shares these 100 members hold though. Anyway, it's been a long time I come back to Ihub (almost spell Ihop there kakaka). Many new names but the old and enthusiast mods are still here. You guys have helped a lot of people to keep their sanity throughout the last 8 brutal months for LBSR investors. As for the weak-hands ... oh well ... we can't blame them but they will blame themselves later though.
