JIMLUR--If you recall, IDCC had filed an injunction request in the UK action to prevent Nokia from taking any discovery in the US in connection with Nokia's suit against IDCC in the UK. The UK Court denied that injunction request and ordered IDCC to pay Nokia's legal fees to the tune of about $200,000. I believe that the US courts subsequently ruled that Nokia would only be able to use those documents already produced in connection with the arbitration. My take from Janet's comments and the posts today is that IDCC had appealed that ruling and then settled with Nokia on the issues relating to the appeal of that ruling.

Jim thanks for calling Janet and having the "Settlement" clarified. This puts an end to the very creative and imaginative thought processes of a few on this board.

JimLur: I e-mailed Janet asking her if the ICC ruling were put off, would IDCC tell us whether or not it was put off at the request of the parties or simply because the ICC had decided yet. She hasn't responded. I don't know if that is anything she could respond to but maybe if you or someone who had a relationship with her asked her that question she would answer it. I think the impact on the price of the stock would vary greatly depending on the reason. Anyone who she knows want to ask her? James
