The SEC operates on another plane of existence separate from normal humans

I was contacted by them in 2004, guy wanted to know why I bought WXYZ corp. huh? What? WXYZ Corp, why did you buy it in January 2001? Hell I dunno, that was 3 years and 5,000 stocks ago

So I pulled out the records. I had purchased $200 worth of stock and made $94 profit. Why the hell bother me about that, and why bother bothering me about that? Needless to say my response to the inquiry was less than cordial.
