Miss Scarlet, IMO it is a nice pr. It shows how DNAP is making inroads with Govt (in this case LIb of Cong) & academia. This does nothing for sp today. However, IMO it sets the stage as DNAP gets its name favorably out there with more and more very respectable affiliations: Harvard, Moffit, Nature Mag, DA's, FBI, Scotland yard...all this sets the stage for acceptance of the medical work DNAP will begin to release (IMO) within the next year. Miss Scarlet I have been saying exactly that on both this and the RB board, but Gcbr insists I have no clue and that this program is a watershed event for the company. I certainly do not see it that way and, if nothing else, I believe it is a waste of the company's resources to involve itself in ancestry/forensics when only personalized medicine has the potential to raise this Lazarus from the penny cemetery. Miss Scarlet---The debate over who came here first is old
and long. It is a very important debate. If Doc T comes up
with solid proof that Native Americans have a genetic make up
that matches them to Asians this will be a VERY BIG STORY. Lets put it this way---history books will be rewritten
Monday if Doc T Pulls this off. This could well be the story
of 2005. I like the fact that DNAP is involved. The press
fall out from this could well last for days or weeks. We will
just have to wait and see.
