Confuscious, the daily REG SHO "short" is a meaningless number;
Market Makers do not stock shares but must facilitate trades between buyers and sellers. A trade is marked as "short" until the close of market each day and is electronically settled. It is not a cumulative total or even a short past 4:01 EST each trading day.
There is plenty of education regarding the Daily REG SHO list on iHub. Some people use those numbers to make others believe there is a "Naked Short" of their stock.
Since November 2010, ECDC has had a total of 152,265 shares reported short.
Since November 2010, ECDC has issued a total of over 102,000,000 shares of new stock.
What affects ECDC share price more?
Good luck.
