Thanks for your thoughts. Yes, I also have concluded that while we (the US) are in trouble, the rest of the world is in deeper doo-doo, and thus despite our printing dollars non-stop, the dollar is stronger versus other currencies. Of course, this is likely only a temporary phenom, and eventually inflation has to come. Doesn't it? Of course, deflation also has to come when people can no longer afford to buy all the junk we currently fill our storage spaces with, LOL. At some nebulous future point we will likely have tremendous inflation on the things we cannot live without (food, energy, etc.), and tremendous deflation on the things we don't need (iPads, etc.)!
