right on Wolf, thats what i did today, picked up 2M shares at .0031 (refer to post 6429) i actually posted my trade because it all went at the bid price, if you match the times with the bid/ask at the time, youll see they all went off at bid. anyway, tomorrow early AM should be a good time also to pick a few cheapies.

As for the A/S, im not 100% sure but i think they have to file in order to get the vote for an increase in shares. Just from prior experience, usually when a company is diluting youll see huge volume and huge even number blocks hitting the bid. I really havent seen that. But in any case, it sure is a good time to load up. GLTA

hey wolf, i did a quick search, and it seems that if a company does want to increase their A/S, then they have to file in order to get shareholder approval. The last time TADF authorized a share increase was April 2009 (per the 10-K), when they increased it from 1.5B to the current 3B. Having said that, i wouldnt be surprised if they did increase, because like you said, you just never know how much they need to get the merger done. But so far, they have not requested an increase in A/S.

How to increase the authorized shares of stock?

An increase on the authorized shares of stock has to be formally requested to the state by filing “articles of amendment“. A shareholders’ meeting is ussually required to authorize an increase of the shares since their ownership of the company will be affected due to this change.
