Today's Forecast
Monday, May 16th - 6:00 am

Record setting rainfall for Portland Sunday, almost three quarters of an inch. East of the Cascades though there was anywhere from a half inch to an inch and a half. But we are done with the heavy rain. The area of low pressure to the south of us that is bringing us the rain and thunderstorms, will push to the north and east the next couple of days. We still have some showers overnight and into today, although I think your morning commute will be dry. With a little clearing and a little more heat today we could see a thunderstorm and more showers pop up in the afternoon. Tuesday starts out dry, with some rain later in the day. Then we get to the good stuff, if you like sunshine and warmer temperatures, we'll finish off the week partly cloudy to mostly sunny with highs in the upper 60's and lower 70's.

Tonight's Low:: 47

Tomorrow's High: 60

So far today...
High: 49° Precip: 0.02"
Low: 47° Normal Record
67° 92° (2008)
48° 40° (1950)
Sunrise 5:39am
Sunset 8:36pm

What should you have on hand in your home when a storm strikes?

A) Flashlight and extra batteries

B) NOAA weather radio and/or battery powered radio

C) Extra food and water

D) Special needs supplies: medicine

E) First Aid Kit

F) All of the above

At 9am I'll be at my Dentist, having 2 rotten teeth pulled out, after he drugs me reallllly good!
