For the PC, I only see one WordLogic product:

It seems to be software that only runs with their memory stick inserted.

Isn't that all Dell could sell for a PC?

YUP, BB, we are almost there. Let's use any virus scan software as an example. It's similar to Predictive Keyboard in that it needs an operating system to function. But other than that, it is a " stand alone" program. In fact WL's retail level software can be bought on a thumb drive and moved from PC to PC as the user requires. BUT, like the virus scan software, Dell won't sell it on one PC to a company or person for it to be replicated and resold. Simply put, one PC bought, only one user license goes with it.
WL's agreement with Dell does not give Dell's customer the right to resell that software. Just as the virus scan software that comes with Dell's PC can't be replicated and resold. (by Dell's customer) That would be "software piracy". Software usually has some safeguard to prevent that from happening. And, to extend the thought that brought us to this discussion, that PIRACY would be an area for the lawyers to handle.
So, are we on the same branch of the apple tree, drinking a screwdriver? LOL
