okay lol we are getting closer to being on the same page or if we are comparing apples to oranges and we are almost in the same tree..... lol (yes it is overused) and sorry for grafting another limb into it... lol



Okay now back to what I'm getting at.....

....that was what my post is about..... IF Dell liscense software for numerous other companies that is their nitch and they sell the hardware and what good is it with out software....

Now what I'm trying to say is this predictive software isn't a free standing software application but is integrated into other software so thus it is a patented method.... <--- or do I have this concept totally wrong.....??
I have a somewhat rudimentary understanding of software I suppose and should of took more time to explain my question with more detail.
