I think you'll find they've been selling shares for a long time, and fabricating things for even longer than that.

I doubt it very much, unless they have started including EGOC as a a case study in Penny Stock Scams 101.

As much as anything, EGOC hasn't been round long enough to be incorporated in any college courses, and besides their track record is one of unmitigated failure, which is why their pps has plunged precipitously.

I think Messrs Amyot and Morrice chose the name very carefully, so that people would confuse their scam, Energy 1 Corporation, with legitimate company Energy One Inc. and I'm afraid they have managed to fool a few of the more gullible folk with that rather obvious ploy.

In fact choosing names which are close to real companies, but nevertheless can be denied as being deliberately chosen to cause confusion is a standard penny stock fraud play. Supatcha were the last company that tried that, but they were even less subtle than these clowns.
